Review:
This one is definitely my favourite of the trilogy. I didn't know whether or not I would love Chance, but oh, I did love him.
He was probably the brother I didn't know very well. Each book brought it more about the brothers, but I felt like not much had been said about Chance, but still, I was really eager to read his book and learn what kind of person he was. I could have read another book about him because I seriously loved his personality. A bit cocky, sweet and charming, he is my kind of guy and obviously Gen agreed.
As for Gen, I really liked her character. I liked how confident she could be and how she really wanted to prove to everyone just how capable she could do things on her own. But, I also liked that by trying this, a part of her was still scared to tell her family just exactly how she felt. She was taking manners into her own hands, but was still staying silent towards how she felt with her family. It made her more relatable because so many of us will always have that fear that if we speak up, we will disappoint people.
Then, the two of them together... Wow, I really liked their chemistry together. If there was a moment when these two were their true selves, it was when they were together. I liked how easy their relationship evolved. It wasn't like a huge BANG and it was done. No, it was more slowly, even if the time frame isn't long.
Overall, this is really my favourite book and if for a reason or another, Marissa decided to write another book in this, I'll jump on it for sure. I wouldn't mind reading about other people from the brothers' lives and see where they are at.
