Review:
So I plunged into this book and had difficulties putting it down to do things like work or sleep or eat. Once again, Ilsa Madden-Mills got us hooked on her sport romances.
I will admit that it was quite different from the books I usually read from Ilsa because there was so much angst in it. I wasn't expecting that all, but it added to the story and it also showed that sometimes people only see what you want them to see.
I feel like Sugar and Zack were compatible in a way even though their lives couldn't be more different, but they each brought something to each other.
There were quite some twists in this story that I wasn't expecting when I first started this book, but there's nothing I love more than to be hit with the unexpected so it was simply perfect.
I really think that Zack's character was really the most interesting out of the two because of every layer he had in his personality. He was obviously dealing with a lot, but he was trying hard to hide it because he didn't want to lose what he had.
Sugar was fun to read too because she was an introvert, but she wasn't afraid to speak her mind and her interactions with Zack were always entertainning.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and recommend it highly if you like quick paced and entertaining books from the first chapter to the end.
