History is on repeat…
Seth never thought he’d have a future. But now he’s on the brink of having it all with Josie: A tomorrow. A family. A forever. And all that's standing between him and that forever is the Titans. If he helps Josie entomb them -- without killing them, a nearly impossible task for him -- everything he could ever want will be in reach. But he soon realizes that as a god, every little choice he makes can reshape the world for the better… or worse. And in meddling with the Titans, Seth may have just set into motion catastrophic consequences that will force the Olympians to enter the mortal realm and reshape the delicate balance of power that keeps the world from total collapse.
A price must be paid…
Entombing the Titans is Josie’s top priority. After all, it was what she was born to do. But the plans her father put into play to help her are no longer an option, and the odds she and Seth face in forging their own path are grim. The escalating violence between halfs and pures only increases the danger closing in on them and their friends. Josie knows their chances of succeeding in their task are slim at best -- and if they fail, they might lose everything. But she also knows she's not fighting just for herself -- she's fighting for the man she loves, for their future, for the world. Together with the Army of Awesome, Josie and Seth will face the unthinkable. And to win this war, the ultimate sacrifice must be made.
For the end is here and the Prophecy will be fulfilled…

Review:
If you haven't read The Return, The Power or The Struggle, you better stop reading this now or you might get some spoilers from the previous books.
This series ends in a way only Jennifer L. Armentrout can end them; half of me crying and half of me happy ;)
More seriously, we embark one last time in Seth and Josie's journey and it will make you go through all kind of feels throughout it.
Entombing the Titans is their main concern but the task seems even more impossible with the more news they gather up. With the remaining demigods, their success rate is slim, but Josie and the gang are determined to find a way to succeed but Titans aren't the only problem they need to deal with.
One of them comes in the form of war between the pures and the half-blood on campus. The hatred between the two groups escalates so quickly that it seems to be fuelled by something.
The second one is the search to retrieve the remaining demigod which will lead them to new discoveries about this one and open another can of worms.
In-between those problems, the Titans continue to cause mayhem and cause the gang more headaches as the options to solve this huge problem seem less than stellar. Because the lack of demigods seems to be putting a halt into their plans and the Gods themselves don't seem to be forthcoming with information that could be helpful.
Seth's character had evolved so much since the Covenant series but I really feel that he got his biggest changes in this book. I really feel even if he's still a cocky guy, he matured in ways we would have never imagined him do when we first met him. He's growing into a man that he wants his kid to look up to and though it's not easy, he's learning to control his impulsivity to hit first and ask questions later.
As for Josie, she has so much on her plate and she's torn between wanting to fight the Titans and protect the child growing inside of her. This pregnancy also brings forward her protective side even more I believe. In this book, we can see that she's no longer the girl who feared the unknown; she's plunging into it and showing just how resourceful she can be. But this pregnancy also brings a lot of questions as no one seems to know what to expect from this child.
The two of them are learning to work together and trusting one another and I don't think Jen could have gotten a more perfect partner for them as they complete each other. It's not always easy between them, but they make it work.
All the characters will leave you with an impression; good or bad. Deacon is still very much my favourite characters because even with everything he saw and experience, he has such a bubbly personality that just wants to gravitate around him. Alex and Aidan are still ever presence which is comfortable, especially with the bromance developing between Seth and Aidan even if Seth would deny it ;)
My only thing lacking with the characters is that we don't get much contact with the other demigods; they are there but at the same time, I feel like we don't get a whole lot which would have been interesting. But that also leads me to hope that if even if this story is done, Jen could always revisit this world if she wanted to. She would have a few new characters to choose from and a lot of elements to work with.
Sacrifices, love, hate and trials are the major themes in this last installment. Prepare yourself that this journey will not leave you unaffected. Twists and turns like only this author can do them will leave you hung up chapters after chapters.
Once again, Jen got us hooked another series that we are sad to see ending, but everything wraps up so we can have closure about this ending.
I was giving an advanced copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.
