A new standalone romance from Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author Ilsa Madden-Mills...

Fake engaged to the hottest quarterback in the country? SCORE.

They say nothing compares to your first kiss,
But our first kiss was orchestrated for an audience.

Our second kiss…that one was REAL.

He cradled my face like he was terrified he’d f*ck it up.
He stared into my eyes until the air buzzed.

Soft and slow, full of sighs and little laughs,
He inhaled me like I was the finest Belgian chocolate,
And he'd never get another piece.

A nip of his teeth, his hand at my waist...

And I was lost.

I forgot he was paying me to be his fake fiancée.

I forgot we weren’t REAL.

Our kiss was pure magic, and before you laugh and say those kinds of kisses don’t exist…
Then you’ve never touched lips with Max Kent, the hottest quarterback in college history.

Three months. Two hearts. One fake engagement.

Review:

When I started this book, I was sick and yet, it was hard to put it down to actually take care of my cold because I was hooked from the first chapter.

In Fake Fiancée you meet Sunny and Max. They are from two worlds apart, but at the same time, they have so much more in common than what people actually see.

When they first meet, there is attraction between them. It's obvious to them and it's obvious to us the readers. When both of them need to face ex-lovers they aren't really ready to face, a fake relationship seems harmless. A kiss, holding hands, nothing too complicated for a few hours. But that one moment becomes much more complex as they get tangled into this and Max brings it offers a deal to Sunny to keep the charade going on a much longer basis.

Max is a guy you will like instantly. Yes, he has to learn to think about someone else than himself for a change. But it’s not because he's totally self-centered and selfish since you witness a lot of his kindness throughout the book, but when his football career is on the line, he doesn't think much about what his actions can cause to others.

Sunny is somewhat not your typical girl. She doesn’t care much about what other people think about her. She is described mostly as a hardworking girl who loves her grandma very much and prefers to be hanging out with her best friend rather than partying. But there are other layers you get to see of Sunny has she and Max develop a friendship and when the line between friendship and love blurs, you see even more of how insecure she can be; how scare she is to be hurt again.

Trying to keep this short and without spoiler is getting harder as I want to say so much, but overall, this book was a quick and entertaining read. The interaction between Max and Sunny will give you a lot of feels. If you love drama, you will be served. And you can't be surprised by the hotness of this book with Ilsa Madden-Mills writing it.

I was giving an advanced copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.

New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Ilsa Madden-Mills writes about strong heroines and sexy alpha males that sometimes you just want to slap.

She's addicted to all things fantasy, including unicorns and sword-wielding heroes in books. Other fascinations include frothy coffee beverages, dark chocolate, Instagram, Ian Somerhalder (seriously hot), astronomy (she's a Gemini), Sephora make-up, and tattoos.

She has a degree in English and a Master's in Education.

When she's not pecking away on her computer, she shops for cool magnets, paints old furniture, and eats her weight in sushi.
